Animal Ark of Elkin

My cat was diagnosed with diabetes at another clinic. Came to Animal Ark because I had been here many years before and they were absolutely wonderful. They dont disappoint, they treat my cat as one of their own. He has been boarded there and he goes for routine visits to get his blood sugar under control. Absolutely love them

I love this veterinarian. I have gone here for almost 4 years. They are always so helpful and knowledgeable. Incredible staff. I am treated like family. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats and most of them are special needs. They always get the most amazing care! Would highly recommend them.

My sweet boy Charlie became very ill and they were able to get him in quickly. I'm on a very strict budget and couldn't afford the original treatment plan but the Vet was so amazing and truly wanted to help Charlie and we came up with another plan I could afford. Amazing staff and highly recommend.

Made appointment online and called to make sure everything was in order. Lady on phone couldn’t find my appointment. I assured her I had a confirmation email. My duck is very sick and It’s been stressful. She put me on a hold. Told me earliest I could be seen was 3pm. I told her that it might be too late by then. Her demeanor was rude because she wasn’t going hear I had an appointment she rudely said I looked you don’t have an appointment today or tomorrow or next week!! Ok only problem is I did have appointment in the system. And I canceled it and glad I chose a different vet because who talks to people like that?

Having recently moved back to this area after living in Charlotte for over 30 years, I was not optimistic about finding a veterinarian that gives avian care. Enter Dr. Brinegar, he and his incredible staff are not only knowledgeable of avian medicine that are also experts in the field. He educated me more on how to take care of my little “Snow” and I will forever be grateful.
