I do not recommend reaching out to this organization for volunteer opportunities. There was a sign at the Paramus PetSmart, and other PetSmart locations, saying they need volunteers, and my partner and I reached out about 2 years ago, but when I called, the woman was acting very confused why I was calling, although they have a sign with their number. She proceeded to tell me they only allow volunteers that they know, or they “don’t really need them”, but we can come fold towels on the weekends. Not sure why they have a sign advertising the need for volunteers if they only onboard people they know, which indicated to my partner and I she was being prejudice and already had a preconceived bias that we wouldn’t be “good enough” volunteers. Shut it down, the owners do not live in Englewood and they do not help the locals. I have two cats that are very injured, the owner has called me several times, to no avail. The last time she called me, she was touting her own horn so very much that I lost my patience with her, I told her that I am far from a professional cayt trapper and/

Jodi does a fantastic job at making sure all of the animals are always properly taken care of and looked after. Super friendly place and the volunteers are great. Highly recommend adopting a pet from here.
