Mamas Papas Pet Shop

We went to Mama and Papa’s looking for a pup after a bad experience at Silver Nickel Puppies (also in englewood). Sean was incredibly knowledgeable about his pups and takes them to a reputable vet in Tenafly. He gave us so much information and helpful tips before we took her home, and even called us on our drive home with even more information that he forgot to mention earlier. We’ve had our puppy for about three weeks now and could not be more impressed with how quickly she’s learning tricks and potty training, and that she’s sleeping through the night! Whatever preparation Sean was doing with her before we took her home has helped us to have the happiest and healthiest little puppy we could have asked for.

We just lost our Morkie, Marlee, that we got from Sean at Mamas and Papas 14 years ago. She was never sick, gorgeous, incredibly smart and loving. We never had a bad day with her and my heart is broken. If we decide to get another puppy I would only go to Sean at Mamas and Papas.

Our sweet dog, Emma, has been coming here for over 8 years. When we first got her, we tried several groomers in the area, but many were difficult to book. Once we found this place, we never looked back—they always make her look absolutely adorable. Scheduling is easy, the staff is friendly, and the pricing is very reasonable for the area. I wouldn’t take her anywhere else!

This pet store has a great stock of items! I bought a FROMM brand bag of cat kibble, my cats LOVE it. Very pleased with the high quality. I highly recommend coming over to Mama’s and Papa’s pet shop and support a local business!

We welcomed the newest member of our family, little Mochi (nicknamed Mochi-ya), from here. The previous owner, Sean, cared for every animal with kindness, and the new ownership seems to be carrying on that same standard. If you’re considering adding a new member to the Fam, I recommend this place. They provide everything you need like initial vaccinations and shots and take care that the animals are all well kept. What I thought was awesome was that they also share the pet’s family history and dynasty going back decades. It’s a caring, well-run place with people who value the well-being of the pups.
