Southern Paws Pet Lodge

I contemplated on making this review, but as a dog owner who thinks of my dog as my child I have to give my honest opinion on this place. I decided to use this place to board my poodle as my entire family went on vacation. This place used to have webcam long ago, where you could look in on your dog while they were at this place for their stay. I had a great experience with one of my older dogs that stayed once before like 5/6 years prior. However, come to find out now they don’t have webcams, it looks like the kennels are partially outside, and it looks to be owned by different people; However, I still decided to leave my dog for about a week with a full groom included. When I received my dog back he looked like a different dog and not in a good way, he was way smaller like he had not been

Our dogs LOVE going here. When we travel, we ask the dogs: " Want to go see your friends?" . The dogs get so excited. When we get in the parking lot, they pull us inside. They can't wait to see the other dogs and the people. We also get them bathed and nail trims here. They always smell so good when we pick them up. We also board our cats here, but cats are so aloof, we don't know what they think of it. :)

My dog loves it here he was a first time visitor and everything worked out great the staff is extremely helpful and friendly I love the fact that my dog gets to socialize with other dogs I highly recommend them

Friendly, Great layout, and great clips for nails and fur, but the dogs weren't taken out much because they were in the habit of urinating inside after getting home, we had no inside accidents here previously. Even though vet papers and shots are required for stay all of our dogs got wheezing and a cough. Our old dog wasn't allowed to have his bed and was sore and stiff for a few days from the concrete stay. I gave 3 stars for these reasons. We will probably try again in the future and update the review. Nice facility and easy staff. Thanks

We board our dogs here for any trip we take. I'm happy with the services and dogs enjoy the treats from staff that we pack ( unlimited supply).
