I always take my pets to Orangeburg Veterinary Associates. Every visit is quick and efficient. Staff are very knowledgeable and courteous. Dr. Harley and Dr. Kizer both are competent professionals, who take great care of their patients. I would recommend Orangeburg Veterinary Associates to all my friends and family anytime.

I have recently switched all of my pets to this clinic and am beyond happy with the care we have received! Recently, my cat ran into trouble and needed to have surgery. I was very nervous at first, but the staff put my mind at ease right away and explained the entire process. They provided excellent care and made a scary situation much easier! Everyone that works here is so kind and helpful. I am extremely grateful for this veterinary clinic!

It's taken me a long time to write this review because I wanted to make sure my words were clear. Back in April our 14 year old dog had to be put down because of health issues and old age. We decided to use OVA but unfortunately it will be our last time ever using them. We were charged for the euthanasia and for sedation. Sedation was never given, the veterinarian decided to go straight to euthanasia on our baby. At the time we weren't thinking clearly because of our grief But as time went on we realized what happened. Our baby suffered the last few minutes she was alive because she wasn't sedated to go peacefully. To the veterinarian there, I hope you never do this to another family. It is a staggering contradiction to see a professional who claims to value animal life refuse to even step outside while a creature lies helpless. When a veterinarian prioritizes a schedule or convenience over a living being in agony, it doesn't just feel like a lack of policy—it feels like a fundamental failure of the empathy and duty that the entire profession is supposed to represent. This place is absolutely the last place I would want to bring animals knowing and hearing the lack of caring
