They saved our puppy's life! Ceylon ingested 2/3 of a 13x9 Keto Brownie cake (made from 2 boxes of Dunkin Hines keto brownie mix)! By the time we got him to the Emergency Vet, it had been over 12 hours since he ate the cake and he was in severe tachycardia, and it was the morning of my Birthday! My husband and I (and Ceylon's big sister Willow) were so worried! The staff was caring and responsive. The doctor called us throughout the day to give us updates on Ceylon's treatment and condition. The best Birthday present I received was when we got a call at 3pm that Ceylon had responded positively to the treatment and medications, and we could come get him and take him home!! We brought our dog in at 2am for a very scary emergency. The team was knowledgeable from the front counter to the vet. Their knowledge and calmness help me feel safe in leaving my dog there for care. The team communicated wonderfully with me, I didn’t have to sit and wonder how our boy was doing. 2 days later we were able to bring him home, they spoke of him as if they loved him too! Charlie is doing wonderful thanks to this team. I hope they all know how thankful we are that Charlie was well cared for!

It was a really compassionate visit from start to finish and our follow up. Our outcome was heartbreaking, but the staff was incredibly kind and respectful and calm. They talked us through everything they did, answered our questions. Appreciated them being there for us.

Staff is wonderful! Personable, friendly, welcoming, caring and communicative. It’s clear SOVSC cares about their patients and humans that love them. Sure, emergency care is expensive but I’m thankful this team is available around the clock when one of my furry family members are in need.

We walked into urgent care worried and unsure what was going on with our doggy and from the very first moment we were treated with so much kindness and compassion. The staff took every precaution to determine what was wrong, and they moved quickly to get my baby into emergency surgery when she needed it most. The ER team kept us updated every step of the way, which meant everything during such a stressful time. Every single person we interacted with was patient, gentle, and genuinely caring.
