We have been customers here for about 5 years. When we moved to the Central Point area, Crater was one of the very few Vets taking new patients. They are phenomenal and their level of care is the very best. We use them for both dogs and horses and couldn’t be happier with the care our animals receive.

First of all the staff at Crater Animal Clinic are absolutely amazing.. but their approach on how to make your pet healthy is awesome there's no pressure sales tactics they just want to try to get your pet healthy what they do is they lay out all the plans that you can go with according to your budget they don't try to get you into unnecessary X-rays and other whatnauts the veterinarian I dealt with David Smith is a rockstar so knowledgeable and there's no pressure very good people there I recommend going there I will be going there with my pet needs from now on.. the price very reasonable

I have had two very bad experiences with this vet, so I decided it was important to write this. I had taken my dog in because he was having an issue with one eye. It was red and pussy fluid was coming out of it. I took him to the vet and he said they would have to put him out to see what was going on. I left him there and came back later that day. I was told by the vet nothing was in there and it must have just been scratched. I truly felt he had a sticker in there, but took the vet's advice. He gave me pills and drops to use for two weeks. Over those two weeks his eye got progressively worse. I took him back in and asked for a different doctor to look at him. That vet took him to the back room and without putting him out, she immediately saw the thorn in that eye. Because of this thorn be

Dr Smith was AMAZING, helped me with my cat who came in with a leg wound and a swollen ankle. Got him some anti biotics and anti inflammatory meds. Kitty is on the mend. Dr smith was so factual and gave me every option possible before heading to the surgery and amputation route. Was so cost effective. I’m so glad to be a client here. Thank you Kambrea and Dr Smith. You guys rock.

I am heartbroken and extremely disappointed with the care my dog received at Crater Animal Clinic. I first brought her in because she had lost interest in food. She was prescribed antibiotics, but after a week there was still no improvement. The vet then suggested IV antibiotics, followed by an ultrasound, which showed a small lesion on her liver. The recommendation was a surgical biopsy. When I asked how my dog would recover from surgery when she still wasn’t eating, the response I received was simply to “force feed her.” Another test was suggested (a chest X-ray), and desperate to help my dog, I agreed. After hours of waiting with no communication, I had to call myself—only to be told by a vet tech that the X-rays showed no abnormalities and the note from the vet was, “continue with wha
