SOUTHERN OAKS SANCTUARY, INC

My husband and I drove to Georgia for our fall vacation and we visited Southern Oaks Sanctuary - a non-profit pig rescue/sanctuary. We’ve been following SOS and Scarlett on Facebook for several years. Beth and Keith Downs are the owners and they are wonderful people! We loved meeting them, 30+ pigs (including Lulu that we sponsor monthly) and the two ducks Waddles and Quackers. Beth and Keith are such kind and generous people that have devoted their lives to helping pigs that unfortunately other people have neglected, abandoned, abused. They definitely care deeply for all the pigs and 2 ducks. Their property and home and the pigs’ beds are all very clean, all the animals are well-cared for, healthy, sweet, loved the attention and pets. We recommend visiting them if you’re in the area or wa
