South Fork Animal Clinic

I recently moved here and have been astounded with this clinics care. I had my dogs’ annuals done and all of the staff were kind, and open to letting me reward my dogs while they were being examined to keep it a positive experience. I also got one’s dental and OFAs done here. Her teeth are pearly white, and the positioning for both hips and elbows look great!! She was clearly comfortable in the clinic when I picked her up, and made friends with all of the staff during her day there. Overall I am super satisfied with their care, and will be coming back for my other dogs dental and OFAs 🩷

Dr. Hamilton and the entire staff at South Fork are top-notch! Everyone, from the vet techs to the receptionists, is kind and knowledgeable. What I appreciate most is that Dr. Hamilton takes the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and provides all the necessary information, helping me to make informed decisions about my dogs care. Their pricing is always fair, and scheduling appointments is easy. I've had nothing but positive experiences and highly recommend their office to anyone seeking excellent veterinary care for their pets.

I made the difficult decision of putting my cat to sleep. Dr. Stegelmeier was compassionate, kind, and very patient. He walked me through the procedure, and let me say goodbye. This kind of decision is never an easy one, but the people at South Fork truly are some of the best people I’ve ever taken my fur babies too.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this animal hospital! From the moment we walked in with our kitty, the entire team treated him like she was one of their own. They were gentle, thorough, and incredibly patient—exactly what you hope for when your fur baby isn’t feeling their best. The veterinarians took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions without rushing, and made sure we understood the treatment plan. The techs and front desk staff were just as amazing—kind, reassuring, and so attentive. You can tell everyone here truly loves animals and is dedicated to giving them the best care possible. South Fork has been caring for our animals for years! They’ve provided great service for their health, grooming, boarding and even passing on. The doctors and staff are all professional and very caring. Grateful for them! The only reason I put 4 stars is because there’s always room for improvement. I would do 4 1/2 but it won’t let me.
