Remarkable place. They have a deep commitment to helping wildlife that have fallen afoul of roads and cars, power lines, fishing gear, people, and human food. Not to mention all the myriad diseases and stresses that wildlife deal with daily. And they take these broken, hurt, and sick animal and do their best to bring them back to health, rehabilitate them, and return them back into the wild health again and ready to succeed. Wonderful, committed people there. Consider taking a tour (they're not open to casually stopping by) and then consider volunteering there.

The rescue worker was able to free the skunk from the trap, which had snapped around its neck, then put it in a carrier to take it back to their facility for evaluation and care. My seven-year-old grandson and I stood by and waited for rescue and talked about wildlife and doing the right thing even when it’s hard. Many people just walked on by stared at it and went about their business. It taught my grandson a very great lesson today and the Rescue worker was so great in teaching us about other types of scat poop that they can give you to put around your property to keep those kind of critters away instead of putting them in traps and having them suf

We found an injured Fox and these guys stayed late and waited for us so we could drop it off. The fox is in decent shape and staff is optimistic on his recovery. Kind and good people

Did not accept an injured bird, but contacted a rescue that would and called in advance to let them know we were coming in. Very well coordinated with other rescues. Thank you for being there to help.
