Whenever you bring your beloved pet into a vet emergency the stress level is already high. My dog Maddy was throwing up continuously. The staff was very helpful and explained everything well. Turns out that Maddy had swallowed a sock and it was imbedded in her intestine requiring surgery. The staff kept me informed on the procedure. I consistently called them and came down to check and visit with my girl. The whole staff loved Maddy and took great care of her. Special shout out to nurse Brittany who really showed love for Maddy.

The staff and doctor were wonderful. Like most emergency clinics, the wait was long, but the level of care we received made it worth it. The team was compassionate, professional, and truly focused on helping our pet. I especially appreciated how understanding they were about costs. They worked with us and never made us feel uncomfortable when we couldn’t afford every recommendation. That kindness meant a lot during an already stressful situation. I hope we never have to return to an emergency clinic, but if we do, I feel confident knowing our animals will be in excellent hands here.

Today's experience was the worse ever For the second time in my dog Spike's life, I had to bring him to this clinic. The first time, a few years ago, Spike received a decent care for acute allergic reaction to antibiotic Amoxicillin. Today, Nov 20, Spike's and mine experience was not so great. We were left waiting for hours for a triage. Then, after paying for the recommended treatment (over $700.00) we were left in an exam room for about 1.5-2 hours. No interventions, no treatment, no explanation why we have to wait so long at night. Bottom line, it has been very poor service without any consideration of Spike's condition and needs. Not even water was offered to him.

Do not bring your baby here. The first thing they tell you to do is to put your baby down. Last Friday on October 17, 2025 I took in my Yorkie gigolo a.k.a.Giggy. I had took him to a prior vet, which had told me he had left side heart failure.. I told the Er that. He was having a hard time breathing so they put him on oxygen and told me maybe I should euthanize him. I told him that wasn’t an option.. They hadn’t even done an x-ray yet to find out what was wrong with them. He spent the night there after $3800. They told me he had a pneumonia. That was also a lie confirmed by the UC Davis vet Hospital. They ruled it out because he did not have a fever and he was not throwing up. I decided this hospital. Wanted to kill my dog. Brought my dog here few months ago for surgery. Handed me a $11,000 fee which I was able to pay them. After 2 days the stitches opened and had to take my baby back and the Vet decided to have it stapled back. When I asked why it was not performed the first time instead of stitches he just said dogs are playful the move so it opened. Then why not do the staples to cover the wound instead of stitch the very first time? Now I know why.. Because, when I took my baby back, they charged me again for the staples! The vet knew that having stitches can open wound and bleed so I can take my baby back and charge me double! After spending $11,000 with tons of not approved list!
