I am writing this a year later but that just goes to show how much of a positive FIRST experience I had here. Unfortunately me and my boyfriend had to make a hard, heart breaking decision with our dog but with being new to the area at the time just walking in the staff was having a very busy morning but acknowledged the stress we and my dog were in and was able to see us, the staff was very nice and the doctor went beyond and above even contacting past vets to get correct history to this day I am so thankful for this wonderful staff and how much thoughtfulness and extra effort despite having a busy morning and despite us being there for the first time. Thank you!

We love the veterinarian and technicians here at Smithfield Animal Hospital. They are very nice, helpful and professional and they all seem as though the enjoying coming to work each day. They are competitively priced and I really enjoy their “day of” availability. I highly recommend this location and will continue to choose them for my pets’ veterinary care!

Brought my large dog in for a mystery limp that was getting worse, turned out she had a big cut on her toe I wasn’t able to located! (Big wiggle worm) They were able to get me in very quickly and I was in and out within an hour with pain meds and antibiotics. Very grateful for them, a bit more expensive than surrounding vets but the speed and care are worth it in this case.

Dr. Nicole Carey is the best! She truly cares about her “fur” patients and their families. I highly recommend Smithfield Animal Hospital. I have 3 dogs, 2 adult cats and 2 kittens that are under their care.
