We rescued a German Shepherd puppy and determined she needed training. I contacted SMASH and we discussed our best plan. We immediately began classes. The instruction is fantastic and you immediately see results. Shawn is phenomenal and really understands dogs and their behavior. Not only was the dog learning, we were as well. We now have a completely different dog. We will continue practicing what Shawn taught us. He also has a doggy day care. We have used that too and will continue even though we graduated. He works with them throughout the day on topics you ask. We are now going to start working to earn our canine good citizenship certificates. Highly recommend SMASH K9.

Shawn and Sheri are amazing. When we started we couldn't walk our our dogs. We wanted to take them places with us when we go places that allow dogs. Pistol was a huge puller and just not controllable. Ruckus was defiant an also did not walk well on leash. After the 16 sessions we now take them everywhere. We highly recommend Smash K9.

Last winter, we decided to “look into” training for our two labs (Buddy, age 2 and River, age 4) to help us correct some behavioral issues (separation anxiety) and have the ability to recall if off leash. Shawn has done wonders for our house. My dogs used to bark at everyday deliveries/surprises that would enter the room & they would listen seldomly to commands. Dog training can be an intimidating aspect when owning a dog, especially concerning the dog's overall happiness and curiosity. Shawn made it clear from the start that he wouldn't detract from the joy a dog has just from being a dog. His techniques and training work tremendously & with reinforcement at home changes can be noticed immediately.
