Customer Reviews
Staff is very professional and welcoming. The shelter was clean and well maintained. My fiancé and I went in to browse at the dogs and ended up adopting after a meet and greet. The process was super smooth compared to others. I highly recommend Linda L Kelley
If you’re looking for honesty, professionalism, or basic courtesy, this is not the place. Animal Control managed to completely misrepresent our dog’s situation, stick to a version of events that even the other party later contradicted, and then treat us like an inconvenience for questioning it. The staff was consistently rude, dismissive, and more interested in defending their narrative than finding the truth. Accountability and communication were clearly not priorities here. If only they put as much effort into accuracy and respect as they do into doubling down on misinformation. We will no longer answer calls or doors for these people.
Easy adoption process and very affordable adoption fees compared to other local shelters. However, when I adopted my furbabies (they were in foster care and the actual shelter for a few weeks before adoption), they had mites in their ears, dirty ears, conjunctivitis (all of this was found by my vet, not the shelter), and the shelter never tested them for feline leukemia or feline immunodeficiency virus. From what my vet said, this isn't the first time they've experienced stuff like this with pets that came from this shelter, so it makes me question how well the pets here are actually taken care of, but it seems like it doesn't live up to the actual Linda Kelley's love for animals.
My husband and I recently adopted our four month old puppy from the Linda L Kelly Shelter and couldn’t be any happier with our experience! The shelter was exceptionally clean, which immediately made us comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The adoption cost was not expensive, considering they did her spay, vaccinations, Microchip, and much more. I highly recommend adopting from this shelter.
We ended up with the best dog from here. She's definitely got a forever home here with us. She's only a year old but she's already learning to potty outside. She's so lovable for a pitbull mix. She loves everyone she comes in contact with including other dogs. We love her already
