Cael was a warm, calm and kind welcoming receptionist when we brought our sick dog in for evaluation and treatment. The nurse, Sam, was compassionate and very customer service focused. She is very knowledgeable and patient. A joy to work with. Dr. Schrier has a bubbly personality and a delight to work with as well. Our dog instantly gravitates to her and loved all of her treats and kind-hearted attention. I trusted her completely with her thoroughness and professional expertise. I liked that they have a medical assistant that types up all the notes during the visit and files all charges to our insurance company. The McLean Small Door Vet is a gift to the community. This was a great experience for a busy pet owner! The office was clean and lovely and hospitable. The doctor and nurse were on time, efficient, and thoughtful, not to mention kind to our dogs. They administered care gently and with consideration but got it done. They were transparent about pricing. Great experience overall!

We had a great experience at Small Door McLean! I brought my 4 mo old kitten in for his check up exam and it was a smooth and enjoyable appointment. The facility is modern and clean and the vet/nurses are both friendly and knowledgeable. Cael, at the front desk, was incredibly helpful too!

First time at the clinic, we usually go to the clinic in Washington DC. We absolutely loved our experience here! We will definitely be making this our regular location. Front desk staff was very friendly from the moment we walked in. The vet staff was amazing, very informative. I didn’t feel pressured into anything I didn’t want to do. I felt listened to and valued. You could tell they really cared for the animals here and not just $$$. Thank you so much!

Switched from Bond Vet to Small Door just to try new things. The level or service and care is a step up in comparison, bond vet was quite amazing to start. From booking, to checking in, to the actual visit, all simple and efficient. The vet & team were attentive and caring throughout the visit. Billing is transparent.
