Dr Sullivan is the best cat vet Ive dealt with in a very long time. She is so reasonable, knowledgeable, and responsive. I am just really grateful I found her. Shes very very good with cat behavioral issues.

Unhelpful and condescending front desk staff. Walked right out. Save yourself the trouble and take your pets somewhere welcoming and full of love. Pack animal care in Lorton blows this place out of the water!!

Front desk staff is kind and they have a good sense of humor. It’s a hectic and busy place, lots of clients, but the staff doesn’t rush you and answers your questions. The doctors also take their time learning about new patients and bonding without pups. We have a pup who’s terrified of the Vet and aggressive with other dogs when he’s stressed- this vet allows me to schedule appointments at the end of the day to avoid a busy waiting room and shields other dogs when we enter and exit, allowing our boy less stress and no unnecessary contact. Everyone is gentle and patient with this anxious pup and that makes it better for me as well. Our big girl pup is overly friendly and gets lots of love when she visits. Dr. Sullivan discovered a cracked/infected tooth AND a heart issue. I was recommended

I've been taking my cat, Lucy, to Dr. Jack Sexton and the staff at McLean Animal Hospital for 14 years and can't say enough good things. Dr. Jack Sexton has always been compassionate when working with us and Lucy. He has treated us both with with kindness and respect, and has been sensitive when dealing with with us on difficult matters. He has strong communication skills and has been able to discuss his recommendations and explain treatment options patiently and thoroughly. Lucy is a rescue from the Dane County Humane Society in Madison Wisconsin and his nearly 23 years old. I'm pretty sure she has good genes, but it wasn't for McLean Animal Hospital, she wouldn't be the active and spry happy cat she is today.

Found a baby robin during my walk. No one would take the bird in. McLean Animal Hospital immediately accepted it, fed, and found a rehabber. These people are amazing and I will be taking my dog over to them moving forward.
