Most of the staff I've met have been great! Dr Chris is very calm when he comes in & he talks to you while watching your fur baby & its all love from Dr Chris. For larger dogs he gets on the floor with them & the smaller dogs he's at the table with them giving love while doing the exam. Great Dr! I appreciate him so much.

First time going here and will NOT be returning. Upon arrival, he was not very enthusiastic with greeting us and immediately started giving my dog treats WITHOUT asking for any allergies or if it was okay with us. During the exam he then explained to us what we should be doing with our dog without asking any of what we are already doing and did not let us speak without being interrupted or to even answer the few questions that he did ask. He mansplains everything, assuming this is because we are young but he has no knowledge of our experience or how our dog is doing at home. When discussing vaccinations, he did not even mention rabies a core vaccine by law, and said that spaying is optional, and never discussed the dangers of not doing it which I think all vets should do for people that d

My pet and I love the small, home-feeling environment. It’s not so big and intimidating, but it’s clean and smells clean. My Beagle would say, “lots of clean, fun smells”! Dr. Chris and his staff are always kind and gentle! I definitely have no problem or issues. My dog and I are very happy here!

My dog loves going to the vet. No seriously, he loves it. All the techs fawn over him, the doctor adores him and is so good and gentle with him. Wonderful people that treat your pet like their own. I am Lauren Hill.There should be ZERO for rating. On August 18, 2025 I took my 15 year old cat , Paddy to Shrewsbury vet clinic. He had lost 5 pounds and was getting picky with his food.His breathing was twice as fast as his sisters. I knew something was wrong. I thought he was going to die soon. He did not. Paddy greeted me every morning for two weeks with a happy attitude. He was walking, jumping and relieving himself with no problem. His sister experienced a sudden severe weight loss and Dr. Chris deduced a thyroid issue which was addressed with a cream medication to the inside of her ear flap. I always detected an attitude of disdain from him towards me, but I wasn't there for anyone to like me. I just needed help with my pet. Chris examined Paddy and said he has fluid around his heart
