All of the staff we came in contact with last night were amazing. My boyfriend rushed her there and the dr called and told me her diagnosis and the outcomes. I told them I was on my way. She got oxygen and meds to keep her comfortable while I was heading there. They gave us time to spend with her before she had passed. They even gave us all the time we needed after my sweet girl was gone. I couldn’t thank them enough for being so kind during a very difficult time for me. I am so thankful for them. I have had to visit MDAEH twice--it's every pet owners worst nightmare to have to rush their baby here... but these people are saints. Both times, I was an absolute mess. They cared for my babies like they were their own. They offered me support, calm, and an understanding of what was happening each step of the way. It was “time” for our 14 year old lab to cross the Rainbow Bridge. The staff was wonderful, thoughtful and caring. The Vet was so, so good and really seemed to understand our sadness. They have a special room for euthanasia which gave us privacy. It was warm and comforting. We had a button we could push when we were ready to say our final goodbye. What a wonderful team of professionals. From the receptionists, to the techs, to the doctors. By far the best experience I've had in an emergency clinic. They are beyond well priced and their care, empathy and attention to detail is above anything I could have hoped for. We've been here twice now with two seperate doctors and each time it was the same 10/10 experience. It's a little bit of a drive for me but it is worth it everytime. My dog was in for a time sensitive emergency and before I could even check in, there was a male tech greeting us, ready to get everything rolling.
