Dr. Mike Alber is amazing. He’s knowledgeable, caring and has a conservative approach to treating my dogs with kindness and compassion. We are administering an anti-emetic/anti-inflammatory medication called Cerenia to help ease his nausea and you can try one of the laxatone paste recommendations over the counter to see if this helps. You can also use the Gabapentin to help keep him calm and please ensure to always monitor his urinary output and fecal output. If you continue to see vomiting through the Cerenia injection, please let us know as soon as possible. Hopefully his appetite will pick back up and stool will return back to normal.
