Seven Locks Animal Hospital

I wouldn’t want any other vet than Dr. Popa to treat my dogs. He’s gentle and kind with them, and takes every concern seriously. I’ve gone in a few times concerned over what ended up being nothing and he didn’t charge me. I feel like most vets these days nickel and dime you while Dr. Popa’s priority is the health of your animal. He’s is genuine and straight forward and has my utmost respect. And don’t forget the amazing staff at his side. Would recommend 100%.

Dr. Popa and his staff are great at what they do and truly care about animals. They have gone above and beyond normal care many many times in my experience. One example, his staff is always helpful and answers all my "common sense" questions... even when they are after hours. I have always felt heard and Dr. Popa and his staff does a great job helping me understand (in layman's terms) what the diagnosis/summary of the visits are. Another example, we were a little nervous dropping off our rescue to get spayed 2 months after meeting us, but Dr. Popa's staff sent us a photo of a happy puppy and that put us right at ease. To top it off, Dr. Popa & staff made the CUTEST sea creatures on our pup's dewclaw removal sites. The service we receive feels as if I we are part of his immediate family.

Seven Locks Animal Hospital is the best! I brought my 10 year old dog here and everyone was fantastic. I got a reminder voicemail before the appointment so I showed up with everything needed. My dog was a little fearful but Dr. Popa and Emma were great, they took their time and gave Tilly lots of treats until she was comfortable. We needed a dental procedure and the Seven Locks team made the process as pain free as possible. Their communication was great and they post-op instructions were clear and simple. Tilly is happy as can be now that she’s had her dental cleaning and extractions. Thank you Seven Locks Animal Hospital!!!

Although we recently moved away, we wanted to leave a review for Dr. Popa and the staff at Seven Locks Animal Hospital to help other pet owners in their decisions. My wife had an older chihuahua, Peete, who was always terrified going to the vet and a difficult patient. Dr. Popa and the staff worked with us to make sure that he was prepared for his visits and always took us in within a timely manner. He gave us great care and honest advice. After performing a successful surgery, Peete was able to live comfortably for two years until his time to cross the rainbow bridge came. We are so thankful to the vet and staff for taking the dog on as a patient. They are very honest, hard working, compassionate, and we truly appreciate all the help and great service from this clinic. Great care and amazing staff. And they are even great with giant breeds!
