Canal Clinic

We’ve been bringing our pets (3 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 dog who has passed on) to Canal for years. They’ve been kind to each and every one of them. Most recently, they saw my beloved Bella pass on. She had cancer, and other elderly dog ailments. They helped keep her comfortable for as long as possible, not putting her through any unnecessary surgeries, chemo and the like. (Not that they don’t offer this!) But when it became time, it was time, and they put everything aside for a few moments so we could say goodbye. They offered us their back deck so we could say goodbye to Bella while overlooking green grass, a couple of ponies and a pig. I sobbed the entire time. Canal Clinic is amazing! The staff are always so kind and helpful and Dr. Taylor is the BEST! She is very professional and takes great care of my dog, Louie, when he comes in for his vaccines or has other issues. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a vet for their pet. We love her!

We had a wonderful experience at Canal Clinic with our cat, Oreo. The staff was incredibly patient and used low-stress handling techniques that kept my cat calm throughout the entire visit. Dr. Borrok took the time to answer all my questions and truly cared about Oreo's well-being. Highly recommend for any cat owner!

Dr. Taylor and her staff are the best! Their empathetic nature and genuine love of animals is evident at every visit. If you have an emergency during office hours, Dr. Taylor is so flexible in seeing your pet. When my rescue passed last year, she sat on her porch with me (on her day off believe it or not) for a half hour, just being there for me. I would never go anywhere else!!!

Dr. Taylor is great - knowledgeable and caring. She is very experienced and has good common sense. We trust her with her advice and care for all doggy health. She and her staff provided wonderful care for our beloved senior beagle. They were supportive and sensitive to our wishes when the dog passed away at 17 years of age a few years ago. We are happy to have our new puppy in Dr. Taylor's care. The clinic staff has been always nice, welcoming, responsive, and helpful. The clinic is lovely, located in an adjustment to a beautiful country style private home. So happy we found the clinic several years ago.
