Seminole County Animal Services

We went to this shelter to see what kind of cat we would want. We ended up adopting Mylo, originally named Scar. They even diagnosed him properly (we double checked) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Adoption fee is $5 and was super easy to donate more for the other babies in there! He came neutered with all necessary vaccines and microchipped. The facility is clean and spacious for the cats. I 100% recommend coming!

Our first experience here was to adopt Dakota (Koda), whom we fell in love immediately when we met him. He's very well loved and we're so happy to have him as another family member. We worked with a very kind staff worker in the back where all the animals were, we unfortunately didn't get her name, but she was very patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. The process adoption was easy and affordable as well, and the staff in the front that day were nice. We definitely recommend coming here to adopt. My second experience here was to turn in a stray cat that I found and I worked with an older lady staff member at the front desk that kind of had an attitude, which was unprofessional, off-putting and disappointing to say the least. I received shadow about two years ago. He has been an awesome addition to our family ! when I got him was told he was their favorite. Take good care of him. Just wanted to post and say he is in good hands and is loved dearly thank you Seminole County animal services. You’re truly doing God’s work.

I got my baby Mya, name was Dior, here 2 months ago and was the best decision I've ever made. Staff member Alexandra was super nice and sweet and helped me with my decision and I thank her immensely for her help and kindness and want to help me find my forever fur baby.

We went to visit and pet dogs but we end up taking home our sweet boy Zeke! Adoption fee is just $5 and very easy process! Neutered with all necessary vaccines and microchipped! The staffs are all approachable and you can tell they really care about dogs! The facility is clean and organized. Dogs are well cared and treated. I recommend you to come see animals from this shelter! Please ADOPT, DONT SHOP!
