Riverwalk Animal Hospital & Urgent Care

My first experience with Riverwalk Animal Hospital was about a year ago because my 10 year old pit bull got extremely ill over night. Everyone in the office was so caring and kind to us. Things were not looking good for him and I feel that Dr Rubin was very realistic and informative about what we could and couldn’t do as well as telling me if the cost of these things could actually make a difference. I appreciated him giving me the options but never making me feel like I could save him if i just kept spending money. During his three days under their care, they were updating me constantly and offering to let me come see him and even bring my family. He made a miraculous recovery and has been healthy as a clam since. This team saved my dog and I truly believe that the love and energy he got

My dog was diagnosed with pyometra and needed emergency surgery. Thanks to this amazing team, she recovered beautifully. They treated my Chihuahua with so much love and care from start to finish. The doctor was incredibly attentive and genuinely concerned for my Vickys health, which gave me so much peace of mind during a scary time. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants their pet in the best hands.

I genuinely cannot recommend Riverwalk enough. The entire team was incredibly kind, compassionate, and thoughtful throughout my entire experience. I brought my cat, Noah, here during the final stage of his life, and they cared for him with such tenderness and respect. During a very difficult moment in my life, they were nothing short of amazing. A special thank you to the vet tech, Brooklyn, who was so sweet, patient, thoughtful, and professional. Highly recommend! We had a great experience with Dr. Ruben & the staff at Riverwalk Animal Hospital. Our dog swallowed something she shouldn’t & needed to be seen asap. It was in the evening but they got her in & everyone was so kind to her. She needed fluids & the tech was even kissing her head while administering them because she was shaking. They were all so gentle with her & Dr. Ruben was very knowledgeable, professional & caring. We are so grateful for Riverwalk & their late hours are so helpful! The clinic was beautiful & immaculately clean. 5 stars!

We brought our sweet Rottie girl Maxine in after she had been feeling under the weather for a few days and symptoms hadn’t improved, turned out she needed emergency life saving surgery. Not only was the staff super nice and kind, they gave us various options based pricing without any judgement in order to help us do what was best for our girl. We opted to have the surgery done and they did it within hours of us making the appointment! They also got us in the same day when I called frantic worried about her. The visit itself was timely as was her recheck. They even called me to check on her the next few days after the surgery.
