Second Chance Community Veterinary Hospital of Worcester

I called Second Chance Animal Services to ask about a ballpark estimate for bladder stone surgery for my dog after an emergency vet visit. The receptionist I spoke with, Michelle, explained that the doctors might not be available this week, which I understood. However, even after explaining that I was not trying to schedule surgery immediately and that I already had my dog’s records and X-rays ready, it felt like every part of the conversation was redirected instead of helping me get the information I needed. She asked if I had called the other Second Chance locations, asked if I had a regular vet, and asked if my vet could perform the surgery. I explained that my regular vet can do it but the cost is extremely high, which is why I was calling to get a lower-cost estimate. I was simply try

Brought my Kitten in today. They were running late. apt was at 1010am, wasn't seen till 1040am. Running late was totally fine because there was an emergency that came in. I would want my animal to get priority if she had a emergency. The tech kept apologizing for running late. Which was very nice. But the tech and the Vet were amazing. They took there time with my kitten and made me very comfortable. They also made sure they fully educated me on her needs and even gave me time to ask any questions. I am very happy with my visit. Definitely recommend. you can see how much they care!

So far good but the waiting area is way too small. It's hard to stay standing up if you have a physical condition such as back problems etc and holding to 2 leash 1 with a anxious border collie that doesn't stay still and a small dog whos afraid of other animals. Other then that their staff are great

Took my puppy for his first vaccination staff was amazing and the tech and vet where amazing very friendly and thorough with the exam . The follow up next day to make sure he is was ok with the vaccines and no effects definitely recommend them...

Omg, how i wished I had found this place sooner. If you are 65+ or receive government assistance and need veterinary care this is your place. Everyone was so nice, helpful and kind. You will not beat these prices. I had my two babies spayed, flea/mite, nail trim, rabies and one of them had a hernia repair for 366.00 thats right under 400.00. I called tufts veterinary school just for the hernia they wanted a minimum of 3,000.00 and 250.00 to walk in the door nothing included. It pains me to see animals being given up because they can't afford the prices out there. There are so many seniors who don't get a companion for fear of not being able to afford the veterinary care and this is just so wonderful. Thank you to every Doctor,Nurse and office worker for all they did for my babies.
