Adonis, aka Donnie, actually did not argue about going to the vet after meeting Dr. Lane and her team; previous veterinarians did not have the same impact on him. Donnie was a wonderful pit-mix and as he aged, Dr. Lane worked with his humans to provide him with treatment that best suited his needs. As one of his primary humans, and being a first time dog owner, Dr. Lane always explained options for Donnie's care and what to expect/and or not expect. I can attest to the fact that Donnie lived his best years because of Dr. Lane and her team. And when it came time to take leave of us humans, Dr. Lane and her team were amazing, not only towards Donnie but his humans as well. Thank you Dr. Lane and your team - Donnie's humans

We are so grateful that we took our dog to Dr. Lane and her wonderful staff at Seaport Veterinary Center. Nobody wants to see their fur baby in distress, so when our 11 year old Bichon had an infection in her teeth and swollen gums we took her to Dr. Lane and they went out of their way to make sure she was taken care of immediately. Everything was explained in great detail and all of our questions were answered. We got an estimate of the cost up front and we even paid less than expected. Our dog is healthy again and back to her normal self. She even has more energy now, like a puppy. She is now on a preventive care routine to keep her happy and healthy for many more years to come. Dr. Lane and her staff are so understanding and helpful. Dr. Lane has cared for several of my dogs and cats, and is truly a wonderful Veterinarian! Her entire team is very compassionate. I feel like in medicine, it is very easy to become burnt out, especially in Vet med, however Dr. Lane and her team show up every day and truly care about the wellbeing of your pet! Missed a tooth infection during multiple visits in a dog that already had a prior history of oral infections. A rapidly growing mass over two weeks that was likely an abscess. Bone masses don’t grow that rapidly. No imaging was done and was just told “we will monitor it.” Poor dog ended up seizing and brought to an emergency vet and found to have osteomyelitis of his jaw and had to be put down. I say this not to criticize but poor outcomes need to be noted and learned from. Please take this comment seriously and I hope you revisit your practice style.
