Scenthound Holly Springs

I had such a wonderful experience at Scenthound Holly Springs! This was my puppy’s very first bath after adoption, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was done at a pace she was comfortable with. The team was incredibly caring and attentive, and the facility itself is fantastic. My puppy came out sparkling clean and, most importantly to me, genuinely happy! It’s clear they’re passionate about what they do here. Plus, the price is honestly more than fair for the quality of service. Highly recommend!

Fantastic job! I really really appreciate the staff going the extra mile for us. They went above and beyond to listen to my concerns regarding a previous nightmare experience with Pupply Luv Pet Spa right down the street. We had to let my dogs coat grow out enough to get him evened out and his cut was so uneven when I brought him in. They were patient with me and let me show them photos of what the previous groomer did to my dog, and they were understanding and kind and went the extra mile to listen to my needs and wants and even called me mid grooming just to verify the length of his cut. Additionally, they were accommodating regarding my dogs dislike for kennels and text me 10 mins before he was done so I could be there to pick him up immediately. Disappointed in our experience after 3 visits to this location. The confusion over booking a deshedding ( do it on the app, call the location, etc. each time I’ve been told something different). My dog is a shepherd husky. If i had known i needed to CALL to book deshedding with his appt, i would’ve called. I have him professionally groomed because of his shedding. When i picked him up today, he was still wet (blow dry is included in basic plus?!?) and i was told i don’t receive the $49, i pay each month for the membership, as credit toward my visit. I was only given credit for $39. On the way home, I noticed my fella smelled (like old dog bath water…yes, imagine that exact smell). After Buddy dried completely this evening, I’m questioning whether he was actually washed with sham

We’ve been a couple of times to the Scent Hound in Holly Springs. They have a great staff and my doggo is cleaned for an OK price. Here is where my problem lies. They do Anal Gland expressions without asking??? The first time I visited we had requested the service since my dog wasn’t feeling well. It was followed by a sick dog (pus, and terrible smelling reigon) a week after this visit. The vet told me to never let them do an anal gland expression again since it had a terrible infection. We just went last week to get her bathed and do a flea and tick treatment and I asked for NO anal gland expression please… well they did it anyway and now I am back at the vet spending another $100 to get them drained and her on antibiotics. Please stop doing the expressions if they are not asked for, s

I took my Westie, Sophie, for her first visit to Scenthound today. They did such an amazing job. She looks amazing and seems very calm. It was easy and fast. Just over an hour. So happy I opted for a monthly visit! Just for fun, I’m posting a photo of Sophie 3 days before when she came in from the backyard after rolling in a 6 square inch patch of mud 😂. And when I brought her home today after her bath and mini groom 🥰
