I’m so grateful my cat Tiny is a patient at Scarborough Animal Hospital. Dr. Culver and all the kind staff are so genuinely caring. They get the job done even when she’s difficult, they are thorough and patient, and they are so gentle- they also make me feel so supported as well. They were wonderful. They saw my chicken Edith. I was scheduled to see the chicken doc but she unfortunately was out sick. They called and said another Dr would be happy to see her and work with chicken Dr to get her in and at least seen. She came home on antibiotics and we are hoping she makes a full recovery! We had been clients of Scarborough Animal Hospital for years, and our cat has been on the same prescription food for over five years. One of their own doctors told us at her last visit that she would need to be on this food for the rest of her life. This is not a new diagnosis. It is a long term, established medical need that they are fully aware of. When we recently requested approval to continue her prescription food, they refused because she had not been seen in a year and insisted on an exam. We explained that we were in the middle of moving out of state and were simply trying to bridge the gap until we could establish care with a new veterinarian.
