Paws Applause Natural Pet Supply

I recently took my 7 month old GR to Paws Applause for a grooming session, and I was quite pleased with the experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making sure both my dog and I felt comfortable right from the start. The groomers (Nicole) was knowledgeable and took the time to discuss my dog's specific grooming needs. My dog came out looking great, exactly what I had expected. Overall, I would recommend Paws Applause to other pet owners looking for a reliable grooming service. The price was just right. It’s clear they care about the animals they work with, and I will likely return for future grooming needs.

Reviews can be taken with a grain of salt. For every pro, there is a con. What's up is down, what's left is right, what's black is white. For every positive, there is a negative. So here goes....Danielle (the groomer) has been just wonderful, towards our Gizmo. He is our 2 year old, rambunctious schitzoo(excuse my spelling). It's not so much, he looks like a show dog when she's finished with him. It's how he acts on his way to appointment, you can tell he wants to go. There is truth, if it were a unpleasant experience, he would not want to go, I assure you. Kudos to Paws Applause and especially Danielle.

Everyday I find more and more great places in Scarborough, so glad we decided to move to this area! I needed my kittens nails trimmed and my vet wasn't available, so I went onto Google and this place came up. Convenient location and great staff!! I did the "walk in" option but Called ahead to make sure someone was there that could do cats. The owner/manager was super friendly and did a great job. She even showed me around the store after and recommended some yummy raw treats for the baby. Deff check this place out .

I wish I could say we had a positive experience — we did not. I waited over three months for an appointment at this groomer, hoping it would be worth the wait. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst grooming experience we’ve ever had. We brought in two dogs: our ten-year-old Scottish Terrier, who was overdue for a cut, and our five-month-old Wire-Haired Dachshund puppy. Because of the long wait, our Scottie’s coat had grown out significantly and would be tricky to comb through. I told the groomer she could shave him if necessary. She responded that she thought she’d be able to work through it for a proper cut. When I arrived to pick them up, she came out with our Scottie — shaved, and unfinished. She told me she couldn’t complete his feet because he became “nippy,” then added, s

Well-stacked shop. We came in looking for a small container of stew food for our dog to help us get through our vacation week. The staff person was very helpful and pleasant, and even gave us a quick look at the renovation of the grooming area.
