Scales-N-Tails

I have been into professional reptile keeping for almost a decade and in that time been to many, many reptile stores of varying quality. This place is perhaps not the worst one I have ever been to but is close to it. The store is disgusting, extremely dirty and really messy. The smell was abysmal. There are not very many animals but which there are of each had a very obvious and simple part of their care neglected. The staff are extremely rude. Everything they were selling retail was overpriced ; typically, I do not think much of this for the sake of supporting a small business, but considering the state of this store I think it is at least worth reflecting on. Scales n Tails had exactly what I needed for our little frog. There expert advice was very helpful and appreciated. They really know reptiles and amphibians.

My second time here from central PA. Was worth the ride down with the huge selection of driftwood and fish along with all the supplies. Will be a return customer in the future. Thanks Folks.

Small, but we'll stocked and clean, pet store for reptiles, fish, amphibians and their accessories and food. Good price on feeder insects. Friendly and helpful staff. (NOTE: the picture provided are my satisfied toads that are fed in part by crickets from here.)
