The staff that work here are very knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable. I bought my bearded dragon from here 7 years ago and she's still healthy and awesome.

I got my snake from them almost 6 years ago, he’s been such a joy to have. I also have isopods from them, which have been super fun as well. The people there are passionate and give great advice. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is their pricing and return policy. The prices are higher than average, a tank I bought for isopods cost $75 for me to learn that it retailed online for $50. They also have a 3 day return policy for live. That’s hardly enough time for animals to stop showing stress signs, let alone signs of possible illness. I don’t know how much can be done as I believe it’s a chain establishment but generally I like Scales ‘N Tails.

We came in to browse, thinking about diving into chameleon ownership, and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The young man who helped us clearly has a deep understanding of chameleons and took the time to walk us through everything—from enclosure setup and different types of chameleons to best practices for care. What stood out most was the genuine care and pride he puts into his business; he truly wanted to make sure we were set up for success, even recommending other avenues to find the specific breed we were looking for. He went above and beyond to make sure we understood every step. Highly recommend!

Staff advised us across multiple weeks on what and how we should purchase and proceed with our first reptile. Their patience was much appreciated.

Super friendly and helpful staff. I got a ball python from them and now go there to get it food. One stop shop for your reptiles!
