I took sweet Daphnie to Inkwell today for a concern about her having blood in her stool this week and - looking at all the reviews I thought, how can a vet hospital possibly have a 5 star rating with 51 reviews? Well, here I am feeling literally compelled to write their 52nd 5 star review. For real. Kindness, extreme care, never once did they rush, and stayed within Daphnie’s comfort letting her come to them. Extremely knowledgeable, they explained their thoughts to me, let me (and Daphnie!) know what they were going to do, asked before they did it, and ruled out all the big scary stuff. Recently, I brought in my dog after being referred by our primary vet. She was acting lethargic and not her usual self. After several tests, it was determined she had cancer in several places and it was pretty progressed. This was an incredibly devastating discovery, one that I hadn’t prepared for prior. Despite this difficult and emotional news, literally every single staff member at inkwell brought such compassion, support, information, education, options, insight and genuine kindness, it made this news remotely bearable. My dog passed ultimately passed away, and the horrific experience of losing her again had the tiniest glimmer of light, solely because of the staff at inkwell. We brought our cat to Inkwell Veterinary Emergency Clinic after an animal bite was completely missed by another veterinary clinic, and we are so grateful we did. Dr. Matthew and the entire Inkwell team were absolutely amazing. Our cat is usually very shy and anxious at vet visits, but the staff was so calm and gentle that he was noticeably less stressed than usual. They did a thorough exam, quickly identified the bite, and treated him appropriately. Everything was handled with professionalism and care from start to finish, and they even called a week later to check on how he was doing. 10/10 would recommend Inkwell to anyone in need of emergency veterinary care.

As someone who works in the veterinary profession, I can definitely say this is one of the best places to take your animals for any emergency. The staff are incredibly kind to you and your animals, and they go out of their way to make sure you both are comfortable. They have an incredible set up in their building so that you are never separated from your pet. This is a welcome change compared to most ERs where you are not allowed to be with your animal during any treatments. I am very impressed with the level of care, the attention to detail, and how easy they are to get a hold of after your visit. I highly recommend Inkwell for any pet emergencies! This is my Luna after her eye was surgically removed by the wonderful Dr. at inkwell vet clinic. There fees for services were the best price out of all the places I called. The staff is so nice and friendly. The place inside is so vibrant and colorful. When calling around to check prices and to see if it could be done same day I was recommended by another vet clinic. I will be going to them from here on out with all my doggy emergency needs.
