I am looking for a new best buddy. The staff is fantastic. Kind /caring/polite. I have been there a couple times. And almost pulled the trigger on a new baby. But truth of the matter. I need to wait a few weeks until I am on vacation for 2 weeks. So I can give the new family member 110% of my time. I am not a lock em in a crate kind of guy. But I have seen a few great pitties that will make great pets. I have owned them. P= perfect I= intelligent T= Total hug a bunch T= Totally Space invading I=investigaters of everything E= everything you want in a best friend. I have had 4 rescues in my life. What ever you do for a rescue. They will do back to you 1000 fold.

It was the best experience I've had at a rescue. Everyone was super nice and took the time to explain things. Here is a meet and greet I had today with Ma Barker.

If I could give them zero stars I would. We showed up to meet a dog, filled out paperwork, and went and stood to wait. While we were waiting, another person came in and wanted to see the dog and somehow they got to see the dog before us even though we were sitting there waiting for almost 20 minutes. It states on their website that they don’t hold dogs for anyone but clearly they give out “first dibs” per what the girl that spoke to us said, which makes no sense because we were clearly there before the other people. The girl at the front desk wouldn’t take accountability for her actions, she just sat there giggling and whispering to the other employees and had them speaking for her because she was too embarrassed to own up to the fact that she screwed up. We left with a very upset family.

Hi! I'm a local therapist and messaged about some cats I was interested in for my practice. Whomever I was talking to first was super nice and helpful! Then a received a very cold and rude message informing me I was not allowed to ask about the cats over messenger. Hopefully the nice person is the one who answers the messages more frequently! Being rude to people who just want to rescue some cats really isn't a great business practice.

We found a dog that wandered from its house and have tried everything else we could, but we ended up calling the answering service. The first call was fine but we called back to find out more info on what to do in the meantime while waiting for a call from someone from animal control to pick the dog up. We were not told how long it would be, so we called back to get a very rude and attitude filled response of “I just work here I don’t know what the process is it’ll take 1-3 hours for a call”… your job isn’t to know what the process is of reporting a found dog? That’s exactly what your job is? Thanks for the help! :)
