This is the worst place to take your pet ever. They’re the worst when it comes to an emergency. My little dog wasn’t good enough to get to see the vet that day, so I had to take him back to the emergency clinic to have him put to sleep. Would have been nice to see the vet that day but nope……..they wouldn’t get him in. They lost 2 clients because of it. If you have an emergency, DON’T go to this vet. They care about, get you in, but not in an emergency, get your money then they watch you leave. Sooooo sickening what they did with my little dog Don’t let it happen to you

Mackinaw veterinary associates it's probably the best place in the area to care for your family fur babies, they have some of the nicest staff that are so compassionate and driven towards the well-being of your fuzzy friends. Truly in the most honest form I cannot thank them enough for saving the life of my dog, if it wasn't for their diligence I would not have my boy today. Thanks to them we discovered that he has a genetic disorder known as Addison's disease, and because of their dedication to the well-being of the animals that they take care of, my dog Meeko is back to 100% happy and running around with a tail wag for everyone to see. Doc and staff are amazing they go out of their way to ensure your pets are well taken care of. If it's something that's beyond their scope they are great with referring you to the best facility for your pets care.

I have been trying to establish my dog as a patient with your rehab clinic since September 3, 2025. To date, I have not received a single call back from your office despite multiple attempts on my part to follow up. Each time I call, I receive a different explanation for the delay: My information could not be located (though later found elsewhere). A referral was needed (which had already been sent). My pet’s records were requested (those were already provided). An intake form was needed (completed on 9/3/2025). I was told the matter was with your rehab specialist, or pending the veterinarian’s review. Most recently, I was assured I would receive a call back yesterday—yet no one contacted me. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else! Excellent staff and clean facility.
