This is the best rescue. I had the best expeience as they brought KeKe from foster to my apt for meet and greet. Love at first meet. She was healthy came with spay cert and harness, toys. I cannot recommend this rescue enough! My smart baby. I continue to donate once a year, she saved me. Thanks!

I filled out the adoption application, and heard back from the Sadie's foster sponsor quickly. They called my references, we had a meet & greet with the pup we were interested in, & Rose came the next day! Thank you for our pup! I highly recommend this rescue-they care about the dog having the right home. Very helpful with specific info about the dog you are adopting. Many thanks for crate & house training her!

It pains me to write this review as I feel it is important that people adopt and don’t shop. My family has fostered as well as adopted the senior dogs with health issues no one has wanted in order to give them a safe place in their golden years. After my experience with Sadie’s, I see why people go to a breeder instead of rescuing and I cannot recommend Sadie’s Safe Harbor to anyone. First of all, the applications for rescues are exhaustive! But, we did it a few months ago as a cute pup had popped up. That dog was adopted so we waited and one popped up this week. We asked to move our application from the first dog over to the new one and shared with TWO volunteers that in between the initial application and now we adopted a puppy. We had a wonderful experience working w the team at Sadie’s. The foster parents we worked with were so knowledgeable about our dog, unique needs of rescue dogs, and the entire rescue process. I really felt like they truly had the animals’ best interests as their top priority in ensuring a good fit. After both parties agreed to move forward, our special buddy arrived with lots of his favorite comforts, but also a packet of useful information and resources. Sadie’s did an amazing job helping our rescue dog get back to health—he had quite a number of health issues when he was first rescued and it was clear how much TLC he received while he was being fostered by Sadie’s. Wonderful adoption experience, and we are having so much fun with our new dog!
