ROYAL AVIAN PLUS

I believe I saw this store through their social media presence (TikTok)...we are from out of state, but our travel plans had us passing by. I can't say I have ever seen a more immaculate store. Every bird on display has spacious, clean spaces. They are obviously handled and friendly. The store is well stocked with cages, perching options, high quality food options and toys. I wish I were in the market for a new companion, because Mr. Wilson the Amazon stole my heart. But we happily picked up some new toys for our babies at home and some food. I can't wait to stop here again the next time we are in the area.

All around the best bird experience I’ve had in the greater New Orleans area. As a newcomer to the hobby, I found the employees and owner incredibly warm and welcoming, patiently explaining and answering all my questions. Many of the birds in the store have freedom of movement, and the employees gladly helped my 2-year-old physically interact with the birds, which she absolutely loved. As for the birds I purchased, I can honestly say that their temperament and overall character were fundamentally different from pet store birds I’ve had before. I didn’t expect the employees to have personal relationships with each and every bird, to the point where they could explain individual characteristics of even their parakeets. My all time favorite bird store. Always have plenty of parrots in store to go see and/or purchase. Plenty of accessories like cages, toys, food and treats. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and will make sure you understand all there is to know, especially for 1st time bird owners.

The first time our Samantha EVER got her wings clipped that she was stress free. Whenever we took her to get her wings and nails trimmed she would come and go straight in our shirt and would not come out for hours but today first time she wasn’t stressed or scared she is still at home no stress awesome care for birds. They really care about the bird and their family shared food for her and knowledge about her hormones. Our baby just got a new care taker for all her needs. Food and wings. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Royal Avian Plus is without a doubt one of best bird stores around. They also have other supplies for cats, dogs, bunnies, etc. They are locally owned by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable family. If you’re in the area just stop by and say, “hello”. My gf and I came in over the past couple of years from out of state and ended up finding our lovely Caique, Dory. We can’t say enough nice things about these people and this place. Go check them out. You won’t regret it!
