Ross Veterinary Clinic

What an absolute treasure for the pet parents and animal lovers of the Linn County area! My wife and I were visiting family for the holidays and our older dog started having some trouble. They were able to get us in on Christmas Eve and help us deal with some tough news with compassionate professionalism. If we lived in this area, Dr. Ross (and her team) would HANDS DOWN be our Vet. Highly recommended!

Our beloved vet is currently out on medical leave so she recommended we go to Ross Veterinarian while she is out. My kitty needed an appointment quick and they got him in the next day. Every single person we worked with at Ross was completely amazing! So friendly. So caring. So great with my kitty Mookey Bear who ended up having 2 abscess in his front paw pads 😢. They were so sweet and tender with him, and so great with me who was very worried. I am still loyal to our vet, but will definitely use Ross Veterinarian if needed again. I took my 8-year-old cat in because I suspected a Unitary Tract Infection (UTI). They had me drop her off for the day to try to get a urine sample and was told she also needed a rabies vaccine. After over 7 hours, they called and said they couldn’t get a sample and sent her home with no treatment. They also admitted they didn’t give her food or water during that time which could’ve possibly help with getting a sample. I was told they wouldn’t provide any medication without a sample and basically offered no real solution. I got out my wallet to see how much I owed and after the receptionist talked with the Vet Tech she said I didn’t owe anything for the day. On my way home, I realized she was supposed to get her rabies shot, by law, and I had to call them to ask about it. Since they said I

I had to make the hard decision to put down my 17 year old dog today… they have a candle that they light when people are losing their dogs… I was in the room crying about my dog and all I hear from the lobby is somebody with their dog laughing… to me that was horrible to hear I get you have every right to be happy but when they have a candle to show people that somebody is dealing with saying goodbye and it’s not even lit… wow is all I have to say… No compassion for me having to just have put my dog down. Horrible

Dr. Ross and Dr. Fairleigh are both awesome! I've never felt rushed and feel like they genuinely care about giving me the information I need as a pet parent, and giving my pet great care. I recommend them to everyone who asks where I take my girl.
