The man there was incredibly helpful and nice. When we walked in he was up and moving making sure we knew he was there to help us. He helped my 5 year old nephew see the snakes that were hiding. Yesterday when my other nephew went in to get crickets the woman there was very nice and helpful. The crickets also look a lot healthier then the ones from the chain store. The man also spoke Spanish for those who need it.

The entire staff is absolutely awesome. They actually care about everything they fo and it is noticed very easily. We go nowhere else. Home Grown Pets is the best!

Was looking to purchase a bird, preferably a cockatiel, but was open. Walked into the front foyer and was immediately hit with an overwhelming smell of urine which stayed through out my visit and permeated the entire store. Gentleman at the counter did smile and greet me, however, when I stated that I heard what I was looking for (the birds were singing), he completely ignored me after this and offered no assistance. I planned on walking out with a bird today, however, with the smell, unhelpful employee, birds with filthy water and cages and birds who seemed completely unsocialized, I chose to take my business elsewhere. This place is amazing!! I go here when I need items for my rabbits. They have top of the line product and are very knowledgeable. Not only have I brought products from this place but I also brought all 4 of my rabbits from this place as well. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have my lovely animals

Good, local, people are solid. Employees know things and are able to speak from experience with pet care recommendations. Trustworthy people that seem like they want to be there.
