Riverside Veterinary Care and Dental Services

My dog died and they did nothing to save him.Riverside has no emergency services. My dog was dying in my arms and I called and spent 15 precious minutes talking to some stranger who then told me to drive my dog to Burlington. My beautiful baby died less than an hour later. He wouldn’t have survived the long drive from Rutland to Burlington. I hope these dedicated professionals enjoyed sleeping in their nice warm beds while my 8 year old lab mix died in my arms. Riverside is only interested in making money, They don’t care about animals at all. Then they had the nerve to send me some cheap card and they didn’t even spell my name right….

My 3 boy kitties have all been/are patients here. I am convinced that bringing my first cat here saved his life, as he was very ill and was blown off at another vet office. We got 16 more months with him I believe as a result of excellent care here. My current boy is a patient here now and just had his annual. He finds it terrifying but everyone is so nice to him & us! As long as I live in Rutland I will always use Riverside! Cat mom of Henry, and late bros Jarvis & George

We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved Girtie. She was the most loyal companion for 15 years. Calling Riverside was the best decision. Dr Gifford and everyone we had contact with at Riverside showed nothing but compassion and kindness. I don’t think I will have another pet anytime soon but when I’m ready I know where to go!!

My doggie Thor just absolutely loves everyone at Riverside! He gets excited hearing their voices. Thor has lots of issues and since he was born.

We were visiting New England from the south when our dog Whiskey got very sick. After spending several days in emergency care in NH we needed a vet close by my moms in VT to draw blood daily. Riverside Vet in Ludlow, VT and in Rutland, VT have been absolutely outstanding to work with!! Their technicians, especially Alex have gone above and beyond to help!! Rene at the front desk has also been extremely helpful facilitating everything that we have needed. The other techs and front office staff have been phenomenal as well!!
