I can't say enough good things about Nate, Courtney, and Every Day Canine! When I got my dog 3 years ago, Nate was my first (and best!) resource for learning about obedience training. My dog was re-homed to live with me because he was "the wild one," who had no social skills, no obedience, and would barge through every door. Nate gave me tips, tricks, and taught me how to communicate with my dog. When I was having trouble teaching my dog to recall, Nate helped me teach him in a matter of minutes, then kept my dog for a couple days to work with him. When we first rescued our 2 year old stranger/dog reactive GSD, we couldn’t even as much as get a call back from 7/8 local training companies. Nate was the one who called us back and we couldn’t be more thankful we found him. Nate started by working with us at our home on the very basics, prepping us for future dog park, Home Depot, and eventually school lessons. Riley, our incredibly scared, distrusting, anxious girl has become perfectly obedient, confident, and comfortable in her own skin. I reached out to Nate for help with my young lab who was having issues with boundaries and taking things to far with other dogs! I wasn’t looking for someone to just “train” my dog because I actually consider myself a dog trainer to my pack of 3. But I reached out for a mentor and someone to “train” me! That’s exactly what Nate did! I now have an amazing dog who can go with me and do everything with me without any negative reactions! He really is a wonderful working dog and I can thank Nate for helping me achieve this!!

Finding a quality dog trainer is hard, especially in a small community where there’s limited resources available for anything animal related - let alone finding a quality trainer who is experienced with service dogs! Nate has been an incredible resource (and friend) throughout my time handling and training my service dogs. He’s helped tremendously and is always reassuring when I mess up and need help getting back on track! To say I recommend him is an absolute understatement. There is not a canine trainer anywhere I would refer someone to more than Nate. From police K9’s to pets to service dogs and more, Nate truly speaks the dog language and is an invaluable individual to have in a small community.

Nate and Mary are outstanding dog trainers. I came to them with a six year old male yellow lab and a six month yellow female lab. The Male has aggressive issues towards dogs and is socially lacking. Nate did an in home visit to understand the dynamics of our dogs/family. (Highly Recommend!!) The male is doing school with them and the puppy is going to do school and taking obedience classes with Mary. They take the time to talk and educate on behaviors and how to correct the behavior. Nate and Mary are training us as much as they are the dogs! True lifesavers.
