RG CARES Animal Shelter

I recently adopted a kitten from RG CARES Animal Shelter, and the entire experience was amazing from start to finish. The staff truly care about every single animal—they took the time to walk me through my kitten’s background, health, personality, and even provided helpful tips for transitioning him into his new home. The shelter is clean, organized, and you can tell the animals are well-loved and well-cared for. They made the adoption process smooth and stress-free, and I left feeling completely supported and informed. My kitten is healthy, social, and such a sweetheart—proof they put a lot of love into their rescues. If you’re looking to adopt, I highly recommend RG CARES. We truly couldn’t be happier with our experience adopting our kittens from here. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and supported. The staff were so kind, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. They didn’t rush us and made sure we felt confident and ready to bring our kittens home. What meant so much to us was knowing that the shelter covered their first year of medical care — including neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping. That kind of care and responsibility speaks volumes about how much they truly love and protect these animals. Our kittens are healthy, playful, and have brought so much happiness into our home. RG Cares is a wonderful shelter. I have adopted 3 kittens from them. Once you adopt, they become like a part of your family. The kittens are very well socialized. I know because a good friend of mine is a foster. You will almost always get a lovable companion.

We had the privilege to adopt two sisters. The process of working with the shelter was great. Staff was super helpful and nice. The individual picture is the girls when they arrived to RG cares. The other one is them now in there forever home.

We had such a great experience w RG Cares /Four Legs. From the volunteers who showed us all the kittens and helped us find our two dream kitties to Doreen who was always so knowledgeable and clearly so caring about all the animals to Holland who put us on a clear care/medication plan, we felt really supported and informed throughout our foster/to-adopt process. Our kitties got a cold a couple weeks after bringing them home and taking care of them was as simple as calling and coming to the clinic for some extra love and medicine. The neutering process was also super straightforward and easy. And our babies came home microchipped. Great shelter!!!
