Revival Dog Training - East Village

This review is VERY overdue, but Mabel and I absolutely loved our experience with Revival Dog Training. First, I somehow managed to book the program through the Texas location instead of New York (which feels very on brand for me). When I explained what happened, they were incredibly kind and helped me sort it out without making me feel ridiculous. Mabel mostly worked with Gracie, with Hannah helping often in the training process! Both coordinate everything so easily and were absolutely amazing to work with. You can immediately tell how much they love dogs. They greeted Mabel like she was the funniest little character every time she came in—which she kind of is lol Gracie also has a Great Dane, so she really understands what it’s like raising a giant dog in the city while they’re still

My very anxious rescue puppy, Lotto, LOVES coming to Gracie and Hannah for training. Makes me so happy to see her little tail wagging wildly as we approach Revival. Once I put Lotto in Gracie's hands, she doesn't even look back at me as she runs up the hallway to her "school." My pup had such a hard time socializing before we started training. She was SO scared of people and dogs and the sidewalk in general, but signing up for day training has given her so much exposure and more confidence. She now sniffs peoples' shoes, and is a ton less scared on walks. Thanks to Revival, she is she isn't pooping or peeing in my apartment anymore, which means she isn't eating her poop either (SMH!) and she has started to signal to me with a whimper or a door scratch that she needs to go out. Hannah and Gracie are incredible trainers! They’ve been working with my English Bulldog pup for 3 weeks via the Puppy K program and it’s made such a difference. They’ve tailor the training to his personality and temperament and I’ve seen a HUGE difference in Pedro. At the end of a training, they send us videos of what they worked on so we can work on it at home. Pedro is still only 14 weeks old, but he is well on his way to becoming a well trained pup thanks to Hannah and Gracie ! It’s been so great that I’ll be having Pedro do a few more lessons with them! If you are in need of training for your dog, I 100% would recommend them

The trainers, Hannah and Gracie, are the best. They have an incredible knowledge of dogs and their behaviors - as well as pet parents and what we need for successful training. The day training and one-on-one sessions have been so beneficial for me and my newly acquired, very reactive, anxious dog, JJ. In a short time they helped me get JJ to be calmer and less reactive, making all our lives better. They deserve more than 5 stars!!!

We started using Revival a few months ago to get some help with our high-energy, over-friendly and super strong puller chocolate lab. After a few day training sessions, she's walking so much better on leash and beginning to not need to overbearingly say hi to every dog on the street. What we especially like about Revival is the careful attention to issues, and then useful videos at the end of each training day so you can understand what is going on and practice it yourself with your pup. Hannah, who we've worked with, has also always been available to answer questions, identify solutions and then help us figure out how best to apply them. Highly recommend!
