Rehoboth Beach Animal Hospital

I recently switched the care of my two senior cats to RBAH and have been so impressed by their caring and thoughtful nature and excellent quality of care. The doctors and techs there are so kind and friendly and clearly care about animals. They take their time to make sure all your concerns are addressed. This is particularly important to me. My cats are 16 and 18 and both now have started having multiple serious health concerns that weren’t being properly addressed at my last vet and I was rushed out, some times getting only a couple minutes to see the actual doctor which was unacceptable. I called first thing in the morning to get my pup seen at Urgent Care and was able to secure the last appointment of the day. RBAH has a fantastic system that lets you know where you are in the queue and when to begin leaving your house so that you can make your appointment. But it get's even better! Dr. Prettyman took excellent care of my pup and everyone that I encountered from when I arrived to when I left was professional, courteous and caring. My pup received the best possible treatment, and I was updated routinely while waiting. I am transferring to RBAH for wellness care...thank you!

Dr Hirsch was great with our dog Elvis. The way he was acting we thought that this was the end. But he’s back to his old self again. She was very helpful and informative. We’re very grateful to her and the staff.

My 13 year old puppy had reached a point where his quality of life was not good anymore. I made a curbside appointment and was put on a waiting list. It was perfect as I didn’t have to wait in a room, but could do so from home. When it was my turn I drove there and let them know I arrived. I was greeted at my truck, treated like family, and taken care of quickly. The Dr was amazing, the technician that get us set up was amazing. I wish I had found them sooner. They made a bad day the very best possible. Thank you!

Cannot say enough good things about this animal hospital. Megan Jewel and Dr. Schultz took absolutely phenomenal care of our sweet baby Juno on the hardest day of our lives having to put her down after 17 years with her. The compassion, professionalism, and kindness is unmatched. We are forever grateful that our final memories with our girl were peaceful thanks to Megan and Dr. Schultz. We will recommend this animal hospital to everyone we know with dogs in the area. Thank you again.
