Total Rip-Off, Run Away Took my 1yo Westie in for occasional vomiting. X-rays inconclusive, electrolytes given, done. $1,500. Then they pushed us to Oradell Animal Hospital for $7k–$10k admission. We walked, found a sane vet who fixed it with gastric food + anti-nausea shot for pennies. Overpriced, useless, referral-happy cash grab. Buyer beware—steer clear.

I am horrified by the experience I had at this veterinary hospital. When I brought my cat in, the vet looked her over briefly and, without running proper tests or suggesting a treatment plan, told me we should probably consider euthanasia within a week. That was the “solution” end her life, almost immediately. If I had trusted that advice, my cat would be gone. Instead, I refused, took her home, cared for her myself, and sought second opinions. It’s now been over three months since that visit, and she is thriving, calm, happy, and very much alive. She isn’t even 10 years old yet. The fact that she’s doing so well now only proves how reckless and premature that recommendation was. This hospital nearly cost me my cat’s life. They put my dog into withdrawal by telling me I can give her Gabapentin as needed. Then they made me come in for an exam even thought there was no reason for an exam we just needed to discuss the medications. I drove here from Philly where I go to school and they never told me that they were operating curb side so after I drove two hours they told me I couldn’t go in to discuss with the vet about this medication issue. I was obviously upset that it wasn’t communicated to me that I could not go in with my dog who has severe separation anxiety. Dana the manager got on the phone and screamed in my ear about it and was extremely rude and unprofessional rather than apologizing for their lack of communication. They truly care about your pet and take their time to evaluate your 4-legged companion. I’ve used this vet for my 4- and 2 -year old frenchies and I’ll gladly drive 40 min to this vet vs. visiting the local animal hospital that’s 5 min away. It’s pricey but they use quality shots which minimize downtime. My dogs are a little nervous but they always leave happy after Dr. Bishnoi and his team treats them up.

I’ve been using RV for a very very long time and have always had a good experience. Recently, I said goodbye to my best friend of 13 years and the compassion I received from Dr Kaplan and her staff was just mind blowing it was so comforting at such a hard time. I can’t thank them enough.
