Rainbow City Animal Shelter

I recently adopted Duke from here... it was a perfect match.. what a great, loving, fun fur baby. I am thrilled and so surprised he wasn't adopted sooner. The facility was immaculate, the kennels were clean, the fur babies were well taken care of there.. Highly recommend you check this place out..and adopted!

Upon arrival, the staff greeted me and my grandmother and were very friendly and engaging. We were looking at cats and they gave us an informed tour of all of the kitties and monitored us as we held them which shows how much they care for the safety and proper handling of their animals. All of the cages were clean and the cats were well-taken care of. The staff were amazing and again, extremely nice and caring. If you are looking for a polite staff and a caring facility, please visit this shelter! They are outstanding!

In the past I adopted 3 animals from here. I brought 50lb. Bag of dog food, toys, pate cat food,etc. I parked in handicap parking nearest door. They immediately ran out asking me to move. They needed it for disabled. They couldn't allow two minutes to drop off items. The part they missed is im a disabled veteran with car tags. Furthermore, my car was only 2 in the lot. Not everyone can easily haul 50 lbs.i guess i didn't fit their criteria of disabled veteran. Perhaps i should show evidence?? I dumped items at the door & left. I was left un-thanked & upset by the interaction. I will help other animal sanctuaries. I bared in mind this was for the animals. Not veteran appreciative.

Extremely friendly and sympathetic staff. Helped me very quickly and walked me through the process of surrendering a stray I rescued.

The ladies that helped me were super nice and helpful. The facilities were clean and the animals looked well cared for. I would definitely recommend them.
