Dr. Hillenbrand is the absolute best. She and the entire staff have always been so attentive to my dog’s needs and also mine as a worried pet owner. The follow up, checking on my dog, is incredible, it never fails Dr.Hillenbrand and the nurses always check on us after we’ve been for a sick visit. The care is incredible and I should know my husband is a retired Veterinarian. The nurses put that cute purple bow on her as a surprise.

Dr. Sankaran feels like a trusted 🧡 friend. She respects my cost boundaries on occasion where testing can wait, we do while making sure i maximize my trips to the vet. The office staff is delightful and easy to work with for meds and prescription refills etc. Online refills available for most meds ship to my door. The new building renovations make keeping my nervous nelly pup easy breezy. They limit confrontations in lobby or otherwise. Highly reccomend.

Was there for a doggie booster shot so it was a Quick nurse appointment. 2days later pup had some issues with diarrhea and I was able to speak to the vet by phone for treatment guidance and meds. Saved me a trip for in-office visit. Great service and very responsive!

I have an elderly cat with mobility issues due to arthritis and saw Dr. Leibowitz and his staff regarding my options to ensure my cat's quality of life and the possibility of having to euthanize him if no other options to alleviate his pain were available. This was obviously an extremely stressful and fearful time for me and my pet. Dr. Liebowitz and his staff were so kind and courteous. I was extremely nervous due to a previous bad experience with another vet clinic, I was given the impression that by asking about if I needed to prepare myself for the possibility of putting my pet down, that I was trying to get out of taking care of my older cat. I took my dog here when I moved to Richmond about 5 years ago and initially was happy with the service. A year or so later, though, they began pushing upsells at every appointment, and I got the feeling they had "sold" the practice to one of the revenue-focused "management" companies. I had already scheduled a teeth cleaning, though, so I decided to start looking for a new vet after that appointment. During the cleaning, they called me to ask if I was interested in any additional services, while they were in there (surprise surprise) and I declined.
