Puppyland San Antonio

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Just need to add one star to post this review. I walked in with my children wanting to find the perfect puppy for our family. We were met with employees informing us immediately at the door that we need to sanitize our hands as the puppies do not all have their vaccines. Okay, no problem. We'd love to keep them safe. However, my children and myself at first were not aware that you need to sanitize -in between- dogs. As my daughter finished petting one puppy in the box and reached in to give another puppy some love, one female employee with wavy, salt and pepper-colored, shoulder length hair with lavender glasses on top of her head roughly and harshly grabbed my daughter's arm, pulling her back, and said "I TOLD YOU TO SANITIZE IN BETWEEN THE DOGS." I

We visited Puppy Land on Bandera Road in San Antonio and had such a wonderful experience. All the puppies were absolutely adorable, and even though we told the staff we couldn’t afford a puppy right now (they’re around $2k), the employees at the front were incredibly kind and understanding. They explained their financing options without any pressure and encouraged us to spend time with the puppies and cuddle with them anyway. It really felt like they cared more about creating a positive experience than making a sale. We left with big smiles and warm hearts. When we’re ready in the future, we’d definitely love to come back and adopt from them. Highly recommend!

I got my puppy a couple months ago, and I love him. But it was very bothersome how he was sold to me. I called for just simple information on how much it would cost if I were to hypothetically lease a puppy. Once they saw I was approved, I was told to come by the store to go over the details. I was very very pressured to get the puppy, as I was very unprepared at the time. Again, only coming in to talk about financing options. I honestly felt ganged up on and peer pressured by the two associates that helped me. And if i'm being honest... taken advantage of.. I was by myself, and stated multiple times I was only here for financing information and was obviously very apprehensive. They didnt let up. Puppyland is amazing! All the dogs are so clean and treated well. I came in looking to buy a new baby for my family and the staff there is so sweet and informative on all of their breeds. We were able to play with the ones wanted to and of course were informed to make sure to clean our hands in between touching everyone to keep everyone healthy. My kids had a blast interacting with not only the dogs but the adults helping us find the perfect sweetheart to come home with! Definitely recommending and coming back!

Came in and was greeted by Emely. She let us know the rules of the establishment and staff is very knowledgeable and friendly , prices are based on professional breeder prices but they do have a lot of benefits , they also offer puppy payments! You can really tell the care about the puppies health and well being! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to add a fur baby to their family!❤️!!!
