Prior Lake Pet Hospital - General and Urgent Care

We've been to many vets over the years so I don't take it lightly when I say the team here is absolutely phenomenal. They treat pets like they're their own and that is priceless to me. Dr. Bernaciak is the most humane and personable vet I've worked with since we adopted our kitty a few years back. The team there are definitely cat and dog people which I love to see. They pour their heart into what they do to provide the best customer/patient support possible. I wish I could say the same were true for other vets. I also really appreciated that they keep a designated room for cats only to make it a bit more comfortable for them. I highly recommend Prior Lake Pet Hospital if you're looking for a local vet in the Savage/Prior Lake area for your cat or dog. They're the BEST! It's an added bonus

I cannot say enough good things about this veterinary clinic and their staff. My mom brought her cat in yesterday, and they got us in right away without hesitation. From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind, patient, and incredibly gentle with him. They took the time to explain everything, answered all of her questions, and truly treated him like he was their own. Sadly, we had to come back today to say goodbye. During this hard time, the entire team was beyond compassionate. They were respectful, calming, and gave us the space and support we needed. Their kindness and empathy meant more than words can express. We had a great first experience at Prior Lake Pet Hospital with our dog, Korra. There were two difference technicians we worked with along who were kind and patient with all my questions, willing to listen and give answers, never rushed or condescending. And we LOVED Dr. Tubman - Korra responded to her right away, and I felt that we received excellent care along with being heard and discussing questions that I had. Again, never condescending or irritated - but listened and responded with a personal touch. Such a change from our previous vet - so happy to have made the switch!

If I could give zero stars I would! This place is a joke! We had a bleeding ear emergency with our dog last Sunday. We went in, they saw her, cleaned her ear, put a hat on her, we paid the bill and they sent us on our way. We were half way home and it was gushing blood again, we pulled over, called them and we went back in. They tried stopping the bleeding with styptic powder, put the hat back on, we paid another bill and they sent us out the door. We got home and the bleeding started again. We called them back and were told even though they were not closing for 4 more hours, they were cleaning and didn't want to see us and said we should go somewhere else. We ended up at another emergency vet. They cleaned it, got the bleeding to stop and packed it well and wrapped her head. They said to

Have been bringing my senior cat here for a year or so now and have always had a good experience! Have used both general clinic services and their urgent care. They've taken excellent care of my girl, while also being kind and empathetic to my feelings as an owner. They are extremely reasonably priced considering the high level of care they provide. HIGHLY recommend!
