In Loving Memory of Onyx 🖤 I am writing this as both a memorial for my cat, Onyx, and a warning for others. Onyx passed away on January 11, 2026, at just 4 years old. She lived a full, adventurous life and was truly a warrior. She had four litters, was always in good health, and had an incredible instinct for survival. She once lived in a townhouse and would occasionally wander off—but she always found her way back home. Most times she returned pregnant, yet still strong and healthy. That was just who she was. After moving to Washington, DC, Onyx somehow fell or jumped off our balcony and went missing on December 19. By the grace of God—and honestly, what felt like a miracle—my boyfriend received an alert that she was found at a shelter. We were shocked to learn she had traveled from DC al

Got my dog couple months ago. We love her. But we can't afford to keep her. If you want to adopt but don't have the money to pay their fees. Please reach out. She's so loving and energetic, but with everything going on I want her to find a good home before we have t choose between feeding her and our kids.

This organization posts dogs on an urgent euthanasia list but refuses to answer phone calls or allow site visits for the dogs. My friends and I visited this place twice, we were told to wait for long periods of time and never met any dogs and were constantly told to come back the next day. We live farther away and are unable to continuously make a commute to try and save dogs from being put down in a matter of hours, and it shouldn’t be hard to try to foster. We have done all the paperwork and necessary steps and they are uncommunicative and unhelpful.

To the honorable County Executive Aisha Braveboy, please take note of the outstanding work the staff at the Animal Services Facility & Adoption Center perform day in and day out. They are the unsung heroes of PG County. When I first arrived, I was greeted by Adrian with a warm and contagious smile. She kindly directed me to the reception room. At the front desk, I was also welcomed by a sweet lady who informed me that the dog I wanted to adopt had no applications pending. My assigned Adoption Counselor, Ms. Randell introduced me to Henry who now goes by Luka! She was very accommodating and allowed me to visit Luka with my family the same day during the late afternoon. We decided to move forward with the adoption. They were running an adoption special. We used the savings to pay for a ve

I have sent emails and left phone messages to Jennifer Cropper and Charity Randell as I adopted a dog who has been sick since the day I picked him up on 7/18/2025. WHICH in fact should have never been adopted as the hold policy was supposed to be for three days and was not enforced per policy and procedures for stray holds. This dog has CANINE INFLUENZA and three different bacteria’s in his lungs filled with Pneumonia. I have spent over $11,000 trying to save his life and NO ONE from this facility has contacted me including upper management Ms Edward’s whom I sent an email to. This facility needs to close.. I put in a complaint, I sent an email to the Sheriff office and I’m waiting for a response. We put our beloved Jack Russell Terrier to sleep on 6/24/25 due to organ failure. It was
