I came here to take my cat that needed a dental cleaning and I can’t even say thank you enough to the staff for taking such great care of her (special shoutout to Dr. Khianey, Tya, and Melissa). The price for the dental procedure was very reasonable! I can’t recommend this place enough!

Aside from some punctuality issues due to the snow, their rates are very competitive and the bedside manner of care seems to be genuine and professional. My dog needed 2 incisors removed from what I thought was only 1. Someone needs to recommend volunteers here because they are short staffed. Anyway so far so good when it comes to the service my dog received. Recommended. I’ll be back and hopefully they can continue doing good work on my beloved pet.

I’m very disappointed with my experience at Prince George’s Animal Hospital after months of care for my cat. The veterinarians were not the main issue. The problems were lack of transparency, poor communication, and unprofessional handling of concerns. I have no issue spending money to ensure my pet receives the best care — the issue was transparency, especially after discovering medications were priced at approximately three times market value without clear disclosure. Verbal post-care instructions also did not consistently match written discharge notes, creating confusion. I strongly advise anyone who loves their pet to avoid this clinic. My experience here was unprofessional, dismissive, and completely money-driven, and my dog’s condition was mishandled in ways that could have been dangerous. I first brought my 14-month-old dog, Raven, to this clinic on Sunday because she had decreased appetite, was laying around more than usual, and her vulva appeared swollen. I specifically asked for a full examination, but the veterinarian who saw us on Sunday barely touched her. Instead, he immediately tried to sell me a $300 blood panel without being able to explain: Why the bloodwork was necessary What conditions he was concerned about What he expected the panel to reveal Because he provided no medical reasoning, I declined the test. I still paid for the visit, a
