Zuzu, our Giant Schnauzer, been seeing Ebony at Pretty Pets for almost 2 years now. We love the work she does for our girl and for a great price. She listens to exactly what we want and takes great care. Thank you!

It’s really disappointing that every time I think I’ve found the right groomer for my dogs, something goes wrong. I picked them up from Pretty Pets today and didn’t notice until we got to the dog park that one of them was limping. Turns out, his nail had been cut too short. What’s most upsetting is that no one mentioned this when I picked him up. I understand that accidents can happen, but I should have at least been informed. If they had told me, I could have taken steps to make sure he was okay — wrapped his paw, checked in with a vet, or monitored it properly. Instead, I was left unaware until he was clearly in pain. After trying to contact them multiple times with no response, I’ve decided to leave this review. It’s made me realize I may need to learn how to groom my pets myself — it

Pretty Pets has been great! I was very sad to leave our last groomer when we moved to VA but I’m so glad to have found this place. Jace does a great job with our mini golden doodle Pippa. The price is very fair and the scheduling is always easy and quick. I’m picky about how our pup is groomed and she always looks great. I really recommend this place!

I utilized Pretty Pets for a few years and the grooming was great for my 3 dogs. The prices are lower than other grooming facilities in the area. The last & final time I went there: My dog came home with a corneal abrasion. I took him directly to the vet and they confirmed that it was not from my dog scratching his face and somehow scratched his own eye. The vet said the cut on his eye was too deep to be from his paw. The vet concluded that he believed that either the groomer's scissors or hair clippers fit my dogs eye. Initially Pretty Pets said they would pay my dog's vet bill, only to retract the statement after my vet sent them a fax the $400 bill. Now my dog is blind in that eye. I will never return and suggest that others be wary of their services.
